RA-4 Quick
RA-4H Quick Solution interacts with rust and forms a non-permeable, moisture-blocking and adherent seal. No additional oxidation will occur on the treated metal surface in the medium to long term. RA-4H Quick Solution is your solution when time if of the essence and your project needs to be completed within a short period of time.
Application purposes
RA-4H Quick Solution is applied to halt or prevent further rust formation on various iron/steel structures such as fences, gates, steel window frames, water taps or fittings, sheet metal, storage tanks, automotive body components and many other applications. Once a rusted item has been treated with RA-4H Quick Solution, it serves as a primer and a final coat of paint may be applied directly onto the treated surface after the curing time of 4 hours. Coverage: 1L should cover approximately 50m2 if applied according to manufacturer instructions.
Instructions
- Brush off and remove all loose corrosion and grime. Do not remove all rust as this is a rust converter to be painted over a rusted area.
- Shake bottle of RA-4H Quick Solution before applying.
- Using a paint brush or roller, apply RA-4H Quick Solution to the rusted surface.
- Small items or components may be safely immersed into RA-4HQuick Solution.
- Prior to painting, a minimum of 4 hours must be allowed for drying and curing in warm, sunny weather. If the weather is damp and wet, allow for a longer curing period.
- Apply final coat of paint onto the treated surface.
- Clean paint brushes with methylated spirits.
